Music submissions
Your music stays yours
Tracks sent through the submission form are kept for one reason only: so that 3rd Records can listen to them and talk about them internally.
- Nothing is published, released, remixed, sampled, used in a playlist or shared outside the label until we have talked with you and you have given your written agreement.
- You keep every right on your music. Sending a track gives us no licence and no exclusivity.
- Submissions we do not follow up on are deleted after 12 months, and sooner if you ask.
- You can ask us to delete your submission at any time by writing to contact@3rdrecords.com.
Privacy
Your details
The submission form asks for your artist name, e-mail address, Instagram handle, a streaming profile, a listening link and a short description. We use them to listen to your track and to reply to you. Nothing is sold, shared with third parties or used for advertising.
- Where it is stored: a private Google Sheet and the label mailbox, both on Google Workspace. Only the label has access.
- How long: 12 months for submissions we do not follow up on. If we work together, the messages are kept as part of that relationship.
- Your rights: you can ask for a copy, a correction or the deletion of your details at contact@3rdrecords.com. You can also complain to the CNIL (cnil.fr).
- No tracking: this site has no analytics, no advertising and no tracking cookies. Fonts and images are served from the site itself.
- Embedded players: Spotify players only load when you click Play. From that moment Spotify receives your IP address and may set its own cookies, under its own policy.
- Hidden game: if you send a score to the duck game scoreboard, the name you type and your score are shown publicly on that page. Pick a nickname if you prefer.
- Server logs: the host keeps standard technical logs of page requests, as any web server does.
